ASTRICEUM Archbishop's Museum

The late Baroque-style former canon's palace opposite the Cathedral was built in 1779 under the archbishopric of Adam Patachich.
It was renovated in 2015-2016 and a new wing was added. The Archdiocesan Museum ASTRICEUM presents the 1000-year history of the Archdiocese in an exhibition space of about 1500 square metres, and also displays the finds of the excavations carried out during the reconstruction of the Archdiocesan Cathedral, the Holy Trinity Square and the Archdiocesan Museum, as well as the works of the Kalocsa-born priest-painting artist Péter Prokop.
Under renovation, closed for the moment!
