History: When the town was founded, the construction works have begun on the hill under the today’s city. Only the top of the hill was not covered by moor. Several buildings in the downtown were owned by the church with a center of current Main Square. Here were the castle, the cathedral and the schools. It was the bishop’s center and the core of the city. People were allowed to build their houses along the main road. That is why the today’s downtown is so narrow and long. Its headquarters could be pedestrian zone.
