Nicolas Schöffer Collection
Few people know that one of the pioneers of 20th century spatial-dynamic and kinetic art, Nicolas Schöffer, aka Miklós Schöffer, was born in Kalocsa.
Since 1980, this is where the artist's legacy, the Schöffer Collection, has been on display. The permanent exhibition here presents the highly complex and revolutionary art of the second half of the 20th century through the work of a Hungarian-born artist.
