Chronos 8 light tower (Nicholas Schöffer tower)
The Chronos 8 light tower, which is located near the Schöffer Collection and was a gift from the artist to the city of Kalocsa, was erected in 1982 at the bus station.
The essence of the cybernetically programmed lighthouse is that it detects the pulsation of traffic and its noises, which are transmitted by hidden microphones to the electronic control system. The lighting changes to the rhythm of the traffic and the mirrors on the tower spin.
