Railway station

The Kiskőrös-Kalocsa railway line opened in 1882, and the station building was built in 1885 to MÁV standards.

In 1937-38 the building was rebuilt and decorated with folk art motifs based on the plans of the Kalocsa painter Lajos Gábor. The construction was carried out by Károly Rökk, an architect and painter from Kalocsa. The renovations were completed at the end of June 1938. The station building was later declared a railway monument by the MÁV, as evidenced by the monument plaque on the wall of the building.
